Discovery Kids Club is a club for curious kids. School members and Non-school members who are 3 years old or older are invited to join the fun. Meetings are held every week for one hour from 14:20 to 15:20 with each meeting focusing on either science, nature or cooking.
Discovery Science fosters children's natural curiosity and encourages them to use their senses to explore the world around them. Each science meeting features a variety of theme-based experiments and activities.
Discovery Nature provides children a chance to experience and explore the natural world. Meetings are usually held outside the school at Shukugawa Park or other nearby parks so that children can develop greater awareness and enthusiasm for the beauty of nature.
Discovery Cooking is a great way to introduce curious kids to new foods and tastes. Each cooking meeting focuses on a different culture or country and the foods that are eaten there. Different cooking techniques are introduced along with games and stories from the focus culture.
Anyone can join the fun, just purchase a ticket and make a reservation for the meeting you would like your child to attend. Club tickets for school members are 2,000 yen for one ticket or 5 tickets for 8,000 yen. For non-school members tickets are 2,500 yen for one ticket or 5 tickets for 10,000 yen.
